Personal Project for Nomad Trading Co

Another of my passions is Rugby, now since we move to my hometown is time to give back to them. Here is the result. 

Giving back, and donating to organizations is something we like to do.  We feel it is important to follow and support causes we believe in.  Not every person is blessed with health, or animal with a home.  We believe that it is our responsibility to try and give back to those in need.  Because of this, we have a select line of T-shirts and posters that we will donate 20% of their profits to causes, charities, and projects we believe in.  Next to each T-shirt or poster is the charitable organization that has inspired its design. 

Located at Southern Star Brewery 

Every 2 weeks on Friday, 4-9pm (brewery open until 10p). We will have a variety of vendors selling their locally produced and crafted products.

The Toby Keith foundation is a charitable organization that gives back by helping kids with cancer.  They have paired up with hospitals, caregivers, and other foundations to provide funding and a comfortable place to stay during their treatment.

Guardian Pit Bull Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue dedicated to saving the lives of "Pit Bulls". Our goal is to educate people by providing accurate information about this amazing and misunderstood breeds and find good homes for these great dogs.

Mission

Educate, Advocate, Rescue

Our first priority is to educate the public about the breed and promote responsible pit bull ownership. We strive to advocate for a breed who otherwise has no voice and falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination and cruelty due to an undeserved reputation. We work directly with local animal shelters to rescue the breed from euthanasia and aid in rehabilitation for permanent home placement as a beloved family pet. It is our goal to dispel the myth, fight ignorance and allow the public to know this breed for their loyalty, compassion and unconditional love that truly defines them.

Guardian Pit Bull Rescue will continue to fight for the rights of this breed to have a fair chance at life. We will educate, advocate and rescue and will continue in our efforts until they all have homes.

Branding: Chateau de Gudanes.

An abandoned, neglected and ruined chateau tucked neatly into a deep valley in the French Pyrénées. A site where the first stories of religious tragedies began in the 13th century. Until now, reawakened by an Australian family as they start their restoration, giving back the love it deserves and unravelling the spirit of the past. Opening the door to a world of wonder, both real and imagined.

Is a husband and wife real estate team located in College Station, TX, catering to families looking to rent or buy homes.  Having lived and raised a family there, they don’t just know the area, but they understand the values of making a house a home. Sharing the same values, we made it our goal to show the importance of community, family and home in their image.

Remirez de Ganuza is a Spanish vineyard producing wine on a wide scale, using state of the art methods with the intent of making their product as ‘pure’ as they can.  We have not had the chance to work with this amazing wine company yet, however, we have tasted and greatly enjoyed the goods.  This exercise in rebranding was our attempt to show our affections for the quality of their work.

Is a unique project done with the intention of unifying the different areas of Santander.  Special care was taken when choosing each symbol used to identify the individual neighborhoods, and yet also showing the significant ties that made them all so unique to this city.

The Manoel Theatre is a performance theatre located in Valletta Malta.  Commissioned by António Manoel de Vilhena, Grand Master of the Knights of Malta, in 1731, the theatre was built for the public's entertainment.  It has survived through a rich history, with its beautiful interiors and classic productions.  We had the honor of working with this historical marker, providing posters for all their events during the 2012 season.

R2 is a local Texas beer brewing company.  They produce specialty beer for their local community on a small scale.  R2 is one of our clients that uses only local materials, thus giving back to their local economy.  We not only enjoyed our time working with the R2 team, but also enjoyed the amazing flavors of the beer R2 so passionately produces. 

Combining beer and design, it doesn’t get much better than that.

This is a more personal project that is still ongoing.  The project focused on designing and opening a tavern styled pub.  La Bodeguca centers around the use of local wines and beers, while creating a casual and relaxed atmosphere for locals and travelers alike to enjoy.  This required a long and intensive research process where variations of boutique beer, wine and foods were tasted vigorously, in an attempt to serve the best the local environment has to offer.  This project is still in the works, meaning we are still enjoying a thorough research schedule with the intention of giving our future clients the best!

CGT INTERNATIONAL is a delicatessen beverage and food distributor that, to our enjoyment, chose one of the more creatively designed logos we designed for them.  This logo shows a bit more of what is involved in our process, which is research.  We research the aspects that our clients want to include in their designs, making sure it is original, as well as tells their story, and suggests their company’s values.  

FKP Archetects was an in-house project done while our designer was working for Pennebeker.  This project won three ADDY awards, as well as giving Pennebeker the Lantern award for Agency of the Year.  The logo was also featured in the prestigious logographic book, LogoLounge.  Our designer, M. Yuste, is very proud of this project, and we are excited to show it off.

Brand Id for European Art, Antiques & Furniture Store in China.

The client asked for a European feeling along with keeping to the chinese traditions.

We did this by choosing the peacock as a main element because of its 'one hundred eyes' on the tail feathers which would inspire fame, luck, as well as promote public admiration to bring positive motives from other people.

It is said that the peacock is able to relight the fires of an ailing relationship with the fiery energy of the animal. In decorative art, the peacock symbolises dignity and beauty.

For the fonts we chose Cezzanne. Can you get any more European than that?
All the elements are hand made.  There are watercolor elements to bring in the artistic feeling, but also to try to pull in the look of the old, painted Chinese Silk fabrics.  We paired this with the rice paper texture to keep with the more traditional aspects of Chinese culture.

Is a jewelry designer we were privileged to work with.  Based in Houston TX, Mexico DF and Zurich, Anastacia Designs needed a design to give the company an international appeal.  Our goal was to create an image that helped to represent the original and boutique nature of her lovely designs on an international scale.
